Services include:
User-centred service design: building responsive user-centred services by applying a service-design methodology that incorporates user insights at each stage.
Behaviour change and behavioural science: helping clients to integrate behavioural science into their work so that their technologies support citizens to make better choices.
Quantitative and qualitative insights and futures research: running inclusive research projects which engage community stakeholders through structured interviews, focus groups, workshops, and online surveys. Technology has huge potential to transform our cities. But smart and resilient cities need engaged communities if they are to realise these benefits. Whether you’re a local authority designing tablet-lending schemes for your most vulnerable communities or a technology innovator road-testing the latest driverless cars, you will achieve better results where communities are part of the process.
Our work is grounded in the principle of deep and purposeful engagement with all sections of society. We believe that successful smart city projects aren’t just built for communities but by communities. We specialise in understanding how the public think and feel about tech, and enable local authorities and technology companies harness that collective intelligence.
Our goal? To ensure that the technologies in our future cities are well received, understood and safe and fair for all. Because when cities and local authorities are helped to harness the power of collective intelligence, they are better positioned to create positive outcomes for everyone.
