Energy & Net Zero
Energy simulation & modelling: mapping energy flows and using simulation to quantify the impact of energy interventions
Renewable energy assessments: identifying applicable renewable energy technologies for developers and planning authorities, in line with the wider objectives of the development
Electrification: developing roadmaps for the electrification of vehicle fleets, supported by procurement and fleet renewal programmes
Development of a comprehensive Environmental Management System: working with organisations to identify their main impacts, measure and then take steps to improve their environmental impact in an innovative manner to ensure profitability and long-term resilience.
Addressing climate change is one the most urgent priorities of our age. From heating our homes to getting around town, 70% of the world’s energy is consumed within cities. Roughly 800 million urban dwellers are at risk from rising sea levels and storm surges, and there are local health and environmental consequences of poor air quality. Our cities are where change needs to happen first, and where there are real opportunities to decarbonise and use energy in a smarter, more efficient way.
Our Energy & Net Zero practice helps clients understand how to bring about that change. We specialise in understanding how technology and data can transform buildings, fleets, and businesses, helping cities transition to a net-zero carbon future and ensure long-term benefits are realised for people and the planet. Our aim is the creation of liveable, sustainable cities that enable residents, businesses and individuals to minimise their impact on the planet.
