IoT Project Manager (Permanent)
Hybrid: remote/North Greenwich (2 days/week)

The Internet of Things and next-generation public services such as telehealth have huge potential to transform our cities, but none of that is possible without digital connectivity. We are leading the way in finding new ways to deliver affordable high-speed connectivity through DG Connect, our innovative joint venture with ITS Technology. We also have a programme of innovative IOT projects covering a diverse range of areas, including fly-tipping reduction and predictive maintenance.
To support this area of work, we are looking for a telecoms and IOT specialist. Reporting to the Head of Delivery, you'll support DG Connect in designing and delivering new full fibre networks. You’ll also oversee the delivery of IOT projects, ensuring that the learning and benefits are being documented and measured, and develop business cases for new projects and pilots.

Responsibilities:
Managing IOT projects effectively and to agreed timescales.
Coordinating with colleagues to measure and evaluate the impact of IOT projects on users and service delivery.
Supporting DG Connect – the company’s innovative Joint Venture with ITS Technology Group.
Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Contributing to business development through the preparation of bids.
Quantitative analysis of data in Excel or other software.
Present progress and results to clients, partners and other key stakeholders.
Draft copy for shareable content based on DG Cities projects and research, including blogs, web-articles, presentations, executive summaries and reports.
Raise awareness of DG Cities’ work via networks, including through social media and through networking events.
Expertise
Experience in managing and delivering IOT projects.
Knowledge of the IOT market and suppliers.
Undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline.
Experience of successfully delivering projects for public and private sector clients.
Track record of successful business development and bid writing.
Excellent report writing and presentation skills
Excellent numeracy skills and ability to quickly think through complex problems
IT literate and highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Salary: £35-£45k p.a. dependent on experience.
Location: DG Cities is currently operating a hybrid working policy with 2 days a week in our office at North Greenwich.
