Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Specialist

At DG Cities we help our clients harness the power of technology and data to transform our towns and cities, with a practical approach that puts places and their people first.

We work with some of the UK’s leading innovation companies to achieve our goal of using technology to help tackle some of the biggest challenges facing us today, including sustainability, congestion, inclusion and the climate emergency.

We are looking for a new Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for managing the delivery of a range of R&D and consultancy projects, with a focus on electric vehicles (EV) and EV charging infrastructure.

Your work may be required on many projects giving true variety to your work. However, it is likely that you will work on a collaborative project looking at overcoming the challenges to the roll out and uptake of electric vehicles in rural areas; a roadmap for the electrification of Greenwich Council’s vehicle fleet; and finally a collaborative research project to develop an integrated platform for EV fleet transition.

In working at DG Cities you will be part of a truly multidisciplinary team and will work with colleagues to deliver projects and answer research questions in a collaborative and innovative manner.

You will need to have in depth knowledge of relevant topics, such as EV charging infrastructure and stationary energy storage applications and experience of delivering projects in these areas. You will also need to have experience of providing consultancy services for public and private customers.

At DG Cities we value all cultures, backgrounds and experiences, as we truly believe that diversity drives innovation. Join our mission to ensure that technology development is inclusive and accessible to all.
